Refund Policy

At Sony Mony Electronics, we are committed to making your purchase experience smooth and worry-free. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order. As an authorised dealer for all major brands, every product we sell is brand-new with a full manufacturer warranty.
1. Replacement & Return Window
We offer a 48-hour (2-day) replacement window from the date of delivery. If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours.

Please share your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the product and packaging. Requests raised after 48 hours will not be accepted.
2. Valid Reasons for Replacement
- Product received in physically damaged condition
- Wrong product or model delivered
- Missing accessories, remote, manual, or warranty card
- Product is dead-on-arrival (DOA) — does not power on at all
We will arrange a free pickup and dispatch a replacement (subject to availability) or issue a full refund.
3. What Is Not Eligible for Return
- Physical damage caused after delivery (drops, water damage, electrical surge, etc.)
- Products returned without the original box, accessories, warranty card, or manuals
- Products with a missing, tampered, or defaced serial number, BEE label, or MRP sticker
- Products from which the UPC barcode has been removed
- Requests raised after the 48-hour window
- Change-of-mind returns (e.g., wrong size selected, no longer needed)
4. Manufacturer Warranty
All products sold by Sony Mony Electronics carry the full manufacturer warranty specified by the brand. Defects arising after our 2-day window are covered under the brand's warranty and should be addressed through their authorised service centre.

5. Cancellation Policy
Before dispatch: You can cancel your order at any time before dispatch. Contact us immediately via phone or WhatsApp. Any charged amount will be fully refunded within 5–7 business days.
After dispatch: Cancellations are not possible once the product has been dispatched. If the product arrives damaged or defective, please raise a replacement request (see Section 1).
Cancellation by Sony Mony: We reserve the right to cancel any order due to product unavailability, pricing errors, payment failure, or suspected fraud. You will be notified promptly and fully refunded.
6. Refund Timelines
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method:
- Credit / Debit Card: 5–7 business days
- UPI / Net Banking: 2–3 business days
- No-Cost EMI: As per your bank's policy; check with your bank for any applicable charges
You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.
7. Inspect at Delivery
We strongly recommend checking the product and all accessories at the time of delivery in the presence of the delivery person. If the outer packaging appears damaged, tampered, or has broken seals, please note this on the delivery receipt before signing and contact us immediately. Do not accept delivery of a product with a crushed or open-sealed box without documenting it first.
